Cynder becomes a human

Cynder walked in the temples garden, bored like never before.
Spyro had left her for a week to visit the Chronicler for some reason she didn’t know and she couldn’t come with him.
She walked and walked until she saw something in the bottom of the huge lake they had in the garden, it shined white and blue and looked very pretty.
“What is that and why haven’t I seen it before?” she asked and bent over to try to see what it was.
But she then got overbalanced and fell into the lake with a loud splash.
She struggled to get up again but it felt like she sank deeper and deeper into the lake.

She finally got up and coughed hard to get her air back after she felt like she was about to drown.
“That was close.” She said but she felt weird so she opened her eyes and they widened as she saw she didn’t had claws anymore, now was it hands, five pretty fingers on each hand. She then looked on the rest of her body. She had got a swollen chest and legs but she had also some white pants and a red blouse on there was wet because she has just been in the lake. Her skin was dark and her long beautiful hair was white as the snow.
“W- What happened? What am I!?” she asked herself, confused of her sudden change and then looked around.
She wasn’t in the temple’s garden anymore, she wasn’t in the dragon realm at all.
She was surrounded by trees and other people there looked like she did now.
“Or the question is WHERE am I?” she asked to herself but a man had heard her and walked closer.
“Are you lost young lady?” he asked. He was an old man with a brown suit on. He had white-grey hair and some calm blue eyes.
“Y-Yeah I think… where am I?” she asked still looking around to this new world.
“You’re in the park of the city… isn’t it cold out here?” he asked with a friendly voice.
“*Achoo* Yeah it is” she sneezed and could feel the cold air freezing her body.
“You can come home with me… if you want to of course?” she nodded and stood up but then fell on her back.
“What’s wrong dear?” he asked.
“Um… this sounds maybe a little weird to you but I can’t really walk like this.” She said and felt embarrassed of saying that.
He looked at her and laughed a little.
“You are an odd young lady aren’t you?” he asked with a smile and took her hand and helped her up. After some time she found the balance and stood on her feet.
“Yeah I guess I am” she said still embarrassed.

They started to walk and Cynder got more used to this new way of moving her feet.
“So what is your name young lady?” asked the old man.
“My name is…” she thought about that she should tell him it, maybe would it be a weird name in this world but she choose to tell him it anyway “… Cynder”
“That is the first time I hear a name like that… but it is a beautiful name.” said the old man.
Cynder blushed of the nice comment “T-Thank you… and what is your name then?” she asked.
“My name is Rick… I have lived in this city in about 50 years.” He answered.
“Wow that was a long time.”
“Yeah I have lived here my whole life and I still like the place… now here is my home” he said, he lived very near the park so they didn’t have to walk into the huge city there just would get Cynder scared. His house looked old but still looked like it would stand up in many years.
They walked inside and a young man stood inside.
“There you are grandpa… who is that?” he asked when he noticed the beautiful young lady and his eyes widened by her beauty.
“This is Cynder I found her near the lake wet and cold so I couldn’t just leave her… Cynder this is my grandson Lenny.” said Rick.
“Um hi Lenny” said Cynder with a smile on her face.
“Um Rick I will only stay one night here… I have to get back somehow.” She said.
“Where do you come from?” asked Lenny there was still amazed of her beauty and her cute voice.
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.” said Cynder.
“Come on young lady… you don’t have to be embarrassed to tell us who you are.” Said Rick with a smile.
“Um okay… I’m not… what I now am… but I’m a dragon.”
The two men looked oddly at her.
“I fell in this lake in the temple's garden and then when I came up I was in that park and looked like this.” She explained.
“So… you’re a dragon?” asked Lenny confused and she nodded.
“Oh so that’s why you looked so confused and couldn’t really walk on two legs.” Said Rick and it made sense to him.
“Do you believe her grandpa!?” said the young man a bit surprised.
“Of cause… how can’t I believe a young lady like that… anyway Cynder we will help you tomorrow but now you most sleep” said the old man.
“Thanks” she said and he showed her the room she should sleep in.
The room was very nice with a window and a soft bed.
“Just lay your wet clothes at the chair and we can only hope that it will dry to tomorrow.” Said Rick and leaved the room.
She did what he told her and then lied on the bed.
`This is a weird world… I miss Spyro´ she thought and tried to sleep while she dreamed of her love.

She wake up with a loud yawn, she have never slept this good in her life and she almost didn’t want to leave the bed but she had to get up so she could get home.
Her clothes weren’t fully dry but she used her wind breath to make it so dry so she could use it without getting cold.
After she got her clothes on she then get down to the others there eat breakfast.
“So how is the dragon doing?” asked the friendly old man with a smile and Cynder smiled back.
“I have never slept that good before” she said with another yawn.
She sat down and started to eat of this new kind of meal.
All the stuff was new but it tasted wonderful.

After they were done then the old man spoke.
“So shall we look about to get you home?”
“Yeah I would love that… there is someone I miss really much.”
“Who?” asked Lenny.
“My love Spyro” she said and blushed a little.
Lenny got a little disappointed, even that she was a dragon so was she very pretty and attractive. “Oh okay”
“So let us get going” said the old man and they all walked back to the lake where he had found her yesterday.
“So… how did it happen back at… dragon world?” asked Rick.
“Um… I saw a light in the lake I haven’t seen before… it was white and a little blue.” She said.
“You mean like that one?” asked Lenny and pointed at a little light in the bottom of the lake.
“Yeah that’s it!” said Cynder happily as she could get home again.
“So what did you then do?” asked the old man again.
“I just fell into it… so we have to say Farwell.” Said Cynder a little sad, she wanted to get home but she started to like this old man there have helped her so much while she was confused.
“Well it was good to know you Cynder… I hope that you will return safely.” Said the old man and suddenly got a hug from the young lady.
“Thanks for all the help Rick” she said almost crying.
“Oh your welcome dear.” He said and smiled.
“Okay bye” she said and jumped into the lake.
Bobbles formed on the water but they suddenly stopped.

Cynder came up at the lake and coughed hard again as it felt like she was about to drown.
She looked at herself and saw the claws that she missed so much. She had returned to her dragon form again.
“What a weird day” she said with a smile and tried to again to get used to walk on four legs instead of two.
“I wonder if Spyro has come home?” she asked herself and ran towards the temple.
